A stunning set of 2 illustration prints showing the King and Queen of the big cats, a lion and a lioness.
This Lion and Lioness prints set bundle includes one unframed Lion art print and one unframed Lioness art print. Both are hand-drawn using pointillism techniques, and are reproduced from my original digitally hand drawn artwork. These Unframed high quality art prints, have been designed and printed in the UK, and are signed and dated on the back by Yorkshire artist Helen Turnbull.
Choose from:
- A4 Print (297 x 210mm / 11.7" x 8.3") including the white border.
- A3 Print (420 x 297mm / 16.5" x 11.7") including the white border
Please note, all prints are sold unframed to allow you to choose a frame to suit your home. All my prints have a small white border around the edge of the print for ease of framing.
About the artworks: Hand-drawn on an iPad, and using only the colour black, the shading has been created by the spacing of the dots.
Lion Portrait: Over 260 hours of work and comprising almost 2.3 million dots, this lion portrait stares proudly from your wall.
Lioness: Over 139 hours of work and almost one million dots, this monochrome lioness portrait is based on an original photograph taken by Jean Wimmerlin (@jwimmerli).
Printing: Hand drawn digitally, all my work is printed locally on 300gsm white paper, which is 100% FSC® Recycled certified fibre with a natural white finish. The inks used are highly resistant to UV light, and the paper is PH balanced as well as being elemental Chlorine free. In the right conditions your print will last for years.
Packaging: Each print is thoroughly checked before being posted out and is packaged securely to reach you in pristine condition. All my prints are presented in a recyclable cellophane sleeve with a recycled cardboard back for protection. A5, A4 and A3 prints are all posted flat in a further hardback envelope.
Print Colours: Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, the colour of products may appear different on different monitors. Computer monitors are not all calibrated equally and colour reproduction on the internet is not precise. Since it is not possible to guarantee online colours will look the same on all computers, what you see may vary slightly from the colour of the actual print. If you need to match to a specific colour, please contact me.
